à la carte :: join a Cohort workshop
The Cohort is the highest tier of participation in our beloved program for artists BEING & BUSINESS: THE ARTIST COURSE + TOOLKIT ©.
The Cohort is an international community of artists who meet monthly to review course lessons in greater depth. This assists with accountability and provides additional structure to the program.
Whether you’re curious to attend a Cohort meeting before enrolling, or just want to join one specific workshop… we’re happy to have you join our community!
The next Cohort workshop is 6/12 at 1pm ET ~ its theme is: Submitting & Organizing Strong Solo Exhibitions
Most artists want a solo exhibition but are you really ready to take on that endeavor? In this workshop, we’ll peel back the layers on what it takes to actually be ready for a solo exhibition and tips on how to create a strong solo exhibition proposal. This will also include strategies to propose to the right kinds of spaces!
The first part of this workshop includes a presentation as well as a checklist of items to consider when preparing to pitch your solo exhibition proposals. The second part of this workshop will cover a checklist of items to consider as you prepare for your big show. This will include shows in non-traditional art spaces such as pop-ups!
This workshop is ideal for emerging artists or any artist who has yet to have a successful solo exhibition. You will leave with everything you need to know to find the right places to partner with for your exhibition (which may be a gallery, and may be a completely different type of space!) as well as checklists for exactly what to expect and cover to make sure this event is a success in your career!
Upon purchasing, you will receive:
